On the 19th of December I am going to be flying over to Tonga to visit my nana and grandpa.                 My dad who lives in Australia is going to pick pick me up also with my stepmother and two                 half brothers, and we are going to fly there together.  I am really excited but it is still half a year away.  The last time I went to Tonga was 3-5 years ago and the last time I saw my dad was 2 or 3 years ago so I am looking forward to seeing them all!! In Tonga I always get badly sunburnt and my skin peels off and I can’t get to bed because it’s so painful.  Most of the time it’s because I forget to put sunblock on.  Sometimes my skin will peel off in little pathches and it will look absoloutely terrible.  This time I hope I won’t get sunburnt!

During  the holidays I went to Auckland to see my cousins that live in Glen Innes.  I stayed there for 10 days.  My cousins Mone, Natasha and me went to the pools but my other cousin Peter stayed at there house because he was sick.  We had fun at the pools except for the fact only the cold pool and the spa was open and you had to be 16 or over so only Natasha could go in the spa.  So Me and Mone hopped in the hot showers that people had to go in before going in the pools.

Another day Me and Mone walked into town with 10 dollars each and we went to the internet cafe and stayed there for a couple of hours and ate something.  After that we went to the library and drew pictures for a while and then went back to the internet cafe and went on the computers, the boys played games and I went on bebo and my blog.

At there house I baby sitted my cousins baby Shaniice and dressed,changed nappy and fed her while her mther wasn’t there.

I stayed there for 1 week and 3 days and had alot of fun seeing my cousins again.

My dad lives in Melbourne Australia and he moved there when I was really little, since he moved he now has a girlfriend who he is about to marry and I have two half brothers who he lives with and a little half sister who lives in Auckland.  I fly over to Australia as an unnoccampanied minor because he does not pay for mum to come, on the plane I watch movies and eat lots of yummy stuff like ice-cream.  When the planes almost there the hostesses need someone to hand out lots of lollies and I offer to and everyone only takes two each and I get the rest, I just shove all of them into the bags that people barf in.  Since I live in New Zealand he pays for my tickets to fly over to Australia and see himm every Christmas but sometimes I fly over to Tonga to see his parents my nanna and  grandpa, I always get sunburnt badly over there.  But back in Australia, when I go over there we always do something really fun.  Usually we all go to Luna park, it’s so fun there, there is lots of fun rides like roller coasters and stuff to ride on.  My favourite ride was these little cars that fly around in mid air and go faster and faster, plus the bumper cars are really fun because im a great driver.  My step mother takes me on a big shopping spree for lots of clothes and shoes, she is really cool too.  My dad used to live in a really big house and it was cool and flash.  Overall I think I liked playing with my baby brothers and watching scary movies with my step mother while eating ice-cream.  I have alot of cousins that I stay at and aunties and uncles.  My favourite cousins in Australia are Lillian,hepi and Angi.  They are tongan and samoan.  My brothers are half tongan half samoan.  When we leave dad always gives me some money too. The next time Im going is april holidays, I can’t wait!!!!

During the holidays, Jiordyn invited me to go to Rotorua with her and her family. It was quite a long trip there, on the way I think I dozed off a couple of times,when we arrived there it stank really badly like rotten eggs,Jiordyn and I slept in bunk beds. The next morning Jiordyn and I went kayaking and her father took a dingy up this river and we went a long way out. It was scary because i thought that i was going to fall out into the deep waters, the water was really choppy too. i was the first to reach the little island and i was basically kissing the ground, once we were on our way home her dad towed us home by ropes with his dingy,that was a bit scary too. i was at the back with a rope tied to the front of my kayak which lead to Jiordyn kayak. Afterwards we both went for a swim and had lunch. on the way home we stopped at these hot pools, i had never been to one before as you walked down the hot pool river it got really hot,so hot that it felt like fire,i didn’t go that far because i probably would of melted!after that we started on our way home,i had a awesome time!

During the weekend just past( 15th,16th,17th)I went to sound splash 2008, my mothers best friend and her daughter and husband took me there in raglan, sound splash is famous reggae bands playing there music, thousands of people went there and most stayed the night, it was held on someones farm,there was lots of little shops and food tents setup all over the paddock, my favorite tent was the kids zone,you could draw make necklaces, face painting and all sorts! next to that were two bouncy castles which i jumped on a lot! there two very steep hills next to each other,the main stage was down in between them,lots of kids were picking up cardboard boxes and sliding down the hills, it was so fun! but overal, the most exciting moment is a long story, it was about 10 o’clock at night and me and jasmine wanted to go inside and wrap our selves in a blanket , but we didn’t realize that we had to have a guardian to get back in, Jasmines parents had gone for a while,we tried walking in but then the security guards stopped us and carried on about how we need a parent, the man told us to sit in the corner and don;t talk to anyone till our parents come back, then he called a policeman and told him to take us back to Jasmines parents, It was fun
